Northwestern Claims 2024 Big Ten Softball Championship

ROSEMONT, Ill. - Northwestern University earned its third-straight Big Ten Conference softball championship on Sunday. It’s the 10^th conference title for the Wildcats, the second-most in Big Ten softball history and longest championship streak since a four-year title reign from 1984-87.  

To capture the title, Northwestern won its final regular season series vs. Indiana with a pair of wins against the Hoosiers on Friday (6-3) and Sunday (4-2). 

Northwestern will look to defend its Big Ten Tournament title as the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament, hosted by the University of Iowa On May 8-11. More information can be found on the official tournament website at bigten.org/sb
