Rutgers Sweeps Women’s Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

Scarlet Knights’ Bartoloni, Prasanto and Sturgill earn weekly accolades

Swimmer of the Week  
Sofia Bartoloni, Rutgers 
So. – Ostia, Italy – ITCG Paolo Toscanelli – Major: Criminal Justice 

  • Captured two top 10 school performances in winning both breaststroke events against Princeton in the fifth annual Battle for the Cannon Trophy 

  • Bartoloni hit the wall in 1:02.29 in the 100 breaststroke, knocking .71 seconds off her previous personal best to capture the 10th fastest time in Rutgers’ program history 

  • She followed with a time of 2:14.84 in the 200 breaststroke, remaining eighth on Rutgers’ all-time list and taking .26 seconds off her top time 

  • Last Rutgers Swimmer of the Week: Rachel Kimmel (Nov. 16, 2022) 

 

Diver of the Week 
Holly Prasanto, Rutgers 
Sr. - Sheffield, England – Silverdale School – Major: Psychology & Cognitive Science 

  • Set the fifth-highest score in Rutgers’ program history with a second-place finish on the 3-meter with a 338.03, a career-best for the senior 

  • Finished second on 1-meter with a 297.53 

  • Last Rutgers Diver of the Week: Abigail Knapton (Nov. 3, 2021)

Bailee Sturgill, Rutgers 
Noblesville, Ind. – Calvert Academy – Major: Undeclared 

  • Placed her name eighth all-time at Rutgers on 1-meter, taking third with a zone score and career-best of 297.30 

  • On the 3-meter, Sturgill placed fourth with a score of 316.43 

  • Last Rutgers Freshman of the Week: Elysha Pribadi (Jan. 24, 2024)
